Worst\ best gift ever

Last year on December 25 (Christmas Day) I woke up still in by bed forgetting that it was Christmas I when down stairs to play PlayStation 4. as I sat down and looked outside I realized that it was Christmas and we had gifts under the tree. So, I ran upstairs to wake my brother. His eyes lit up when he woke up "Its Christmas" He yelled. We went to wake our parents, who were all to exited to see the looks on our faces when we opened the presents. When we got down stairs I saw a lot of presents. My brother opened his first he had gotten  two video games and a big huge from our parents,  now  it was my turn, but, there was a big problem there was only one present for me. I felt it all around and thought that it was a sweater or another piece of clothing. At this point I was furious, My parents, the ones that are supposed to get me the best presents gave me clothes? How old am I fifty?  I was already trying to practice my "surprised reaction" to the clothes. But when I opened the gift I saw that it was some sort of protector for an electronic device. "WHAT IS THIS" I yelled in my head "THE ONLY CHRISTMAS GIFT I GET FROM MY PARENTS IS A STUPID CASE, IM DONE THAT'S IT I'M DONE I'M NOT TALKING TO ANYONE UNTIL WE GO TO MY UNCLES FREDDY'S HOUSE FOR NEW YEARS." I was about to start crying. What had I done to get such a horrible present? I felt my face getting hot, I was scared that I might yell and ruin Christmas. I sat down and looked at it. I was about to yell when I saw my brother looking at me from the other side of the living room. His look told me not to yell because he saw my face getting red. Then out of no ware my mom starts talking "Great" I thought "What lecture is she going to give me now" "Mar (Martin) Its something small we thought that we could get this for you this year and get you the computer for you next year, you know that we just bought a house which isn't cheep, and computers are expensive so we just wanted to get you started with this case." "WHAT, WHAT KIND OF BOGUS EXCUSE IS THIS." I thought I was swearing so hard in my mind, if I would have said what I wanted to say I would be in some deep doo doo. "ok" I said trying not to show how mad I really was. "Ya, I understand it's fine" ''Man" I thought " I should be an actor for how good I am hiding my emotions right now." All of a sudden I see my dad walking down the stairs and coming to the living room with something behind his back. To be honest I was so caught up in my thoughts that I didn't even realize that he had left. "Hay junior" he started " Could that case be for this." after he said those words he pulled the thing that was behind his back out. IT WAS A MACBOOK LAPTOP, OH MY GOSH. " No way, are you serious, oh my gosh" Gasp "No way, thank you so much." Gasp "I love you guys so much." I took the computer out of his hand and sat on the same chair that I had sat in not a minuet ago yelling inside my head. When I look up I see my mom holding her phone and recording the hole thing " thank you guys so much, You guys are the best." and thats how i got the worst / best gift ever.

Debate topic

My group's debate is about weather their should be school uniforms. School uniforms are both good and bad. They are good because when everyone is wearing the same clothes that means that people that are less fortunate won't know what other people have. For example Christian Kando always wears his new Jordan shoes which is fine but, with someone that is less fortunate they wouldn't know he had those nice shoes which means that they wont be jealous of them, less jealousy means less hate and hate leads to fights or worse. Also school uniforms help the parents of those less fortunate children because if the children don't know about what nice things other people have then they wont ask their parents to buy them the Jordan's, and they wont have to tell them that they don't have enough money to buy those shoes which is a hard talk to have with any child no matter how old the child is. School uniforms are also bad in some ways, they are bad because in some cases kids want to express who they are and what they like through what they wear but with school uniforms they think that " The system" is controlling what they wear. Also when people that just came to a new school and are looking for friends, they can wear a Star Wars shirt to school and find people that like Star Wars in the first day. For example If Bob comes in to Golf and he wears a Real Madrid soccer shirt he would already have a lot of friends because a lot of people in Golf love Real Madrid.

About me

Hi my name is Martin I like a lot of things.

 I like going out with my friends to the movies or to the park because we always mess around and have a really good time with each other. We do anything with each other and we have a lot of fun whether its staying at one of our houses, going to the park, or going to the movies.

  I also like to play video games because it gives me something to do when I'm bored also when I play with my friends we have a lot of fun because we tell a lot of jokes and we yell at each other when we mess up. when I play video games I release a lot of stress even though it doesn't look like it when we yell at each other but its true.

  I also like to play basketball I have three championships I won those championships within four seasons I have one second place which I got this season in my last season it was very sad we lost by five points very saddening. Lastly I have two third place trophies, the weird thing is that we had really good teams but somehow we had a slip up in the playoffs and that ended our season

Lastly I like to go to church because I have a lot of things in common with a lot of people that go to my church. I like to go to our bible studies that we have every Friday, for most of us that is the only thing that we look forward to during the week because we are so close and we love seeing each other because we have so much in common and we have known each other for so long.

I love this quote because it was said by a college basketball couch that was dieing of cancer, he said the quote after he won an ESPY in 1993 the same year he died of cancer.

I saw this quote the other day when I was watching a movie on the NC State basketball team and how they won the NCAA tournament. I have a lot of emotions in one day, I think about a lot of things from what I have to do for homework to what it would be like if something had happened differently in my life. I also try to laugh or smile everyday because if you don't smile than your days will be full of sadness because sadness takes the place of happiness if there isn't any. Sometimes I cry but not as much as I think or laugh because in life everyone tries to be more happy than they are sad but its ok to cry. If you think about it Jim is right that is a full day if you do all of those things on one day that's amazing because you are expressing yourself and that's what we all want we should be able to do is express our feelings
